German language department
The German Language Department was founded in 1995. At present time teaching and educational process is conducted by 23 lecturers. The department provides training at 11 university faculties. The head of the department is Elena Panfilova, Candidate of Philology, associate professor.
The department trains teachers in the following specialities:
1-0020306-02 “The German language. The English language”
1-0020306-01 “The English language. The German language”
Since its foundation the department has trained many specialists in the German language who have found their employment as teachers, interpreters, reviewers, press agents at the establishments of different patterns of ownership.
The teachers of the department regularly take part in the methodological workshop “Linguistics and language teaching methods” and the seminar held at the department “Linguistics and teaching methods of the German language”.
Scientific work is carried out by participating in regional, republican, and international conferences.
The department closely cooperates with Minsk State Linguistics University, The Belarusian State University, other educational establishments of Belarus and Russia, with the culture department of the German Embassy and Goethe Institute, Minsk.
French language department
The French Language Department was founded in 1995. At present time teaching and educational process is conducted by 2 candidates of science, 2 senior lecturers, 2 teachers. The head of the department is Kolotsej Svetlana, Candidate of Philology, associate professor.
Since the department was started, it has trained 322 specialists in the French language who have found their employment as teachers, interpreters, reviewers, press agents at the establishments of different patterns of ownership.
The lecturers of the department regularly take part in the methodological workshop “Linguistics and language teaching methods” and the seminar held at the department “Linguistics and teaching methods of the French language”.
Scientific work is carried out by participating in regional, republican, and international conferences.
The department closely cooperates with Minsk State Linguistics University, The Belarusian State University, other educational establishments of Belarus and Russia, with the culture department of the French Embassy and Auvergne University (Clermont-Ferrand, France) within the scope the Franco-Belarusian Institute of Management, The Belarusian Association of the French language teachers (ABPF).
